Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA)

Complaints about content in television and radio programmes.

Complaint must be made in writing to the broadcaster in the first instance, within 20 working days of the programme (except if a breach of privacy or an election programme). If not satisfied with the response the complaint may then be referred to the BSA. Complaint must be made with reference to one (or more) of the standards in the relevant code of broadcasting practice. Free service.
